A full house renovation. Starting from the top of the house we obtained planning permission to change the roof at the rear from a hip to gable. This provides additional space for a large guest bedroom and bathroom. Flush PV panels were installed to the roof slopes.

The first floor interior walls were completely removed and rearranged to allow for a new master bedroom, ensuite and walk in wardrobe and dressing area. We also extended at first floor to the side to provide an additional bedroom.

At ground, we obtained planning permission to extend to the rear and into the existing garage to create a large open plan kitchen / dining space, linked via double pocket doors to a play / second living room with a generous window seat.

The ground floor reconfiguration also provides a pantry, utility and WC and cloaks area.

Large triple full height sliding doors give panoramic views into the garden, with level threshold, inside/out transition to the raised terrace area.

The house has mechanical ventialation and airconditioning throughout.

For the extension we used long format Danish Petersen bricks, bespoke oak joinery elements throughout. The flat roof is softened with a wildflower green roof.
